Our four acre recreation area gives you plenty of space to run around and play games with your family and friends. You can also exercise your dog off the lead here – but please make sure that they remain under your control at all times for everyone’s safety.

Also on the field is our henge – which is definitely worth checking out during your visit. Let us know what you think these inscrutable faces are thinking! There is also seating around the area to allow you to relax while more active member of your party blow off steam. You might enjoy the fabulous views from here, as it is located towards the top of the park here at Skelwith Fold.

From the recreation area, you can also access some of our wonderful woodland walks. These delightful paths take you through our natural wonderland and give you a perfect opportunity to see some of the of our native wildlife right here on your doorstep – with deer, badgers and red squirrels all making their home at Skelwith Fold, amongst many other amazing animals!
