Our dedicated team offer a wide range of skills to covering varying roles both indoor and outdoor, working together to provide the high standards our guests have enjoyed for many years. The wardens live on site through the season in the heart of our park Our dedicated team ensure you have a truly memorable stay.
Geoff Elliot – Holiday Park Manager
Part of the Skelwith Fold family since 2006, Geoff has been overseeing operations on the park as a whole since his arrival. In his time here he has seen the addition of various green and sustainability initiatives, new caravan holiday homes and extra pitches and the introduction of rental accommodation, all with a very hands-on attitude.
Matt F – Grounds Maintenance Manager
For over 10 years Matt has brought his skills to the maintenance team which combined with his calm attitude it made sense when he was promoted to manager. He should take credit for a lot of the detailed choices when any part of the park is re-landscaped in a manner sympathetic to how things tend to look at Skelwith Fold.
Emma B – Administrator
Emma has been with us for several years now tackling the ever growing task of administration. A sometimes thankless task but a job where her accuracy really pays off. If ever you manage to stump our reception staff then Emma is likely to appear with assistance.
Lorraine – Front of House Manager
Lorraine has been part of the Skelwith Fold family for many years. After taking a break to travel the world, she’s now back with us, and it’s like she never left! Her adventures took her island-hopping around Greece, with Koufonisia being a standout favourite. These days, Lorraine juggles her role as our brilliant Front of House Manager with being a devoted nanny, so she’s officially working two jobs and still manages it all with a smile.
Lauren – Marketing & Reception
Lauren has been a familiar face at Skelwith Fold for many years. A local Ambleside girl with extensive knowledge of the area, she manages the social media and marketing while also working in reception and the shop. Known for her brilliant smile and warm personality, she always goes the extra mile to help both guests and colleagues.
Fiona – Shop & Reception
A true Cumbrian, Fiona curates the park’s shop with care and creativity. She’s passionate about cold-water dipping, fell walking, and arts and crafts. With a background in sports therapy, she has a keen interest in health, mindfulness, and well-being. Known for her brilliantly witty humour, she keeps both colleagues and customers entertained while ensuring the shop runs smoothly.
Helen – Reception & Shop
Having worked at Skelwith for several years, Helen is a trusted and valued member of the team. Her dependable nature, friendly approach, and willingness to help wherever needed make her someone everyone can rely on. Whether supporting guests or assisting colleagues, Helen always goes above and beyond with a smile.
Louise – Reception & Shop
Louise joined the team in May as part of our Reception team. She has settled in quickly and brings a friendly and professional approach. Whether welcoming guests, answering queries or assisting the team behind the scenes, Louise is always happy to help and has become a valued member of the team.
Emma L -Maintenance Team
Emma has been part of the Skelwith team for many years and is a familiar, friendly face to residents, visitors, and colleagues alike. Known for her warm personality and welcoming nature, she is always happy to stop for a chat and offer a helping hand whenever needed. Emma’s dedication, kindness, and commitment make her a much-valued member of the team and an important part of the Skelwith community.
Chris -Maintenance Team
Chris joined us in early 2026 and has fit right in from day one. Bringing a wealth of skills, professionalism, and a positive attitude, he has quickly become a valued member of the team. Chris takes great pride in his work and is always willing to lend a helping hand, making a real difference to both colleagues and residents. His friendly nature and kindness are appreciated by everyone who works with him
Jill & Johnny – Seasonal Warden Team
Having been with us for several years, Jill and Johnny are a much-loved part of the team. Their wealth of experience, reliability, and positive attitude make them invaluable members of the business. They take great pride in what they do and play an important role in creating the welcoming atmosphere that our customers know and appreciate. Outside of work, they enjoy spending quality time with their dog, Ronnie, who is a much-loved part of the family.
Lisa & Johnny – Seasonal Warden Team
Lisa and Johnny joined our team in February 2026 and have quickly become valued members of the team. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and positive approach make them a key part of our day-to-day success. Outside of work, they enjoy spending their days off exploring the countryside with their beloved Labrador, Daisy.
Andy – Seasonal Warden Team
Andy is the newest member of our Warden team and has settled in brilliantly. With his friendly, bubbly personality and a smile that’s always on his face, he’s a pleasure to work with and has quickly become part of the team. Andy is already making a valuable contribution while providing the professional, approachable service we’re proud to offer.
