When is Keswick market?

Keswick market takes place twice a week and has been running for more than 700 years! It takes place on Thursdays and Saturdays and extends from Market Square to the corner of Bank Street. The whole area is is pedestrianised. Thursday market – 8am – 4.30pm (late February to December) Saturday market – 8am to 4.30pm (year round) The market does not go ahead in bad weather, including strong winds. It attracts visitors and locals looking to sample some of the best produce from around Cumbria. There are more than 60 stalls each week selling a selection of arts, crafts, freshly baked bread, artisan produce and preserves. Delicious hot and cold takeaway food and drink is available. It’s the perfect place to while away a couple of hours during your holiday in the Lake District and pick up some souvenirs to take home.
