The Lakes Aquarium is an aquarium in the village of Lakeside and is one of the docking points for Windermere Lake Cruises. Take a deep breath and dive into the underwater world inhabited by these strange and beautiful creatures! To make it extra special, you can arrive by steam train on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway.

Take a trip around the world to see a huge range of different sea and water creatures great and small from the Lake District to Asia and Africa and more. From fish and sharks, to crabs and frogs, ducks and otters (which are without a doubt the cutest animals you will ever see!) you will be amazed and astounded during your visit. Alongside the traditional fish tanks are more interactive exhibits where you can really see the different creatures in incredible detail. As the finale you have the phenomenal underwater walkway where you can get up close and personal with the fish.
