The Maverick Lakes Osprey is a trail running event in the Lake District, starting and finishing at Grasmere Lakeland Sports & Show. The race features four routes: Ultra (52 km), Long (44 km), Middle (25 km), and Short (14 km), each offering challenging climbs, technical descents, and scenic views.

Spectators can view the race at the start/finish line in Grasmere, with the Ultra and Long routes starting at 08:00 am and the Middle and Short routes starting at 09:00 am. There are also several outpost locations along the Ultra and Long routes where spectators may be able to view runners, including Stickle Barn (10.5km) around 11:20, Neaum Crag Lodges (19.5km) around 12:30, Rydal Hall (27km) around 13:50, and Kirkstone Pass (37km) around 15:30. However, access to these outposts and viewing opportunities will depend on the terrain and available transportation. The finish time for the Ultra route is 19:00.
