Current Vacancy – Seasonal Park Warden (February-November 2026)
Skelwith employs a team of 5 – 6 wardens, who usually live onsite, and work together to provide a five-star experience for our all of our park customers. Their important role is to provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests and visitors whilst also undertaking essential daily tasks to help keep the park facilities clean and well-maintained.
Is this something you could do?
We are currently looking for seasonal wardens to live and work at the park throughout our open season (1st March to end November). We are looking for friendly conscientious people who are happy to work as part of a team and carry out all duties necessary.
The seasonal role, starting in February, is ideally suited to a couple, though a working duo is welcome to apply, as are single individuals. Seasonal wardens often return year on year, so offers opportunities in the future.
Working hours
Work hours would be 40/44 hours each week with two days off (couple days off together).
The role includes “On-Duty” rota where wardens take it in turns to greet late arrivals, carry out evening checks, and help with customer requirements.
What you receive
Accommodation – we offer good quality onsite staff accommodation in one of our comfortable, bespoke static caravans set in the heart of our park.
Hourly rate of pay from £12.75 per hour
Uniform and safety workwear
Holidays and days off (together for couples)
Continual training and mentoring
Requirements
No official requirements except a friendly disposition, with can-do work ethic, a desire to embrace being part of the team and enjoy working at Skelwith. Previous warden experience welcome, but we offer ongoing training for all wardens so no experience is necessary.
Due to the size of the park, it preferable that you have a full current driver’s license.
