Kendal Museum was founded in 1796 and is one of the oldest museums in the country! It has a wonderful set of collections including local archeology, as well as a wide collection of natural history exhibits which shouldn’t be missed! Also at the museum is a shop, cafe and play area.
It is definitely worth a visit – and you’ll be surprised at how much you discover at this historic local museum!
