Lanty Slee

Lanty Slee – the notorious 19th Century smuggler for whom this ‘saloon bar’ is named – once again has a home in The Langdale Valley at The Wayside Pulpit on Elterwater Common.

Known as the ‘Saloon Bar’ as they were in 19th century Northern England, this venue is created to pay tribute to Lanty Slee, curate his history and introduce you to their incredible range of Fine Spirits.

They also serve amazing cooked breakfasts alongside single origin leaf teas, coffee’s and hot chocolates from Midday, Tuesday to Saturday and we offering an exceptional tapas style menu featuring a great range of comfort style, delicious sharing plates. There is also a selection of their favourite fine Wines, Roederer Champagnes and serve chilled handles of imported Budvar alongside local cask conditioned bottled Ales, Cider and more.

Advantage Club members will get 10% discount at the Lanty Slee.
