- Hadrian’s Cycleway (National Cycle Route 72) – over 170 miles long from Ravenglass to South Shields. This famous route is ideal for cyclists interested in history and National Heritage Sites. Cyclists will enjoy a variety of landscapes, from seaside villages to countryside views, quaint villages and rivers.
- Bay Cycle Way (National Cycle Route 700) – over 80 miles long starting in Barrow-in-Furness. This route is mainly flat and takes you down the stunning coastline of Morecambe Bay.
- Lakes & Dales Loop, over 190 miles in length. This circular cycling route takes you around some of the best landscapes in the Lake District, North Pennies and Yorkshire Dales.
