Safari Suites
Our new Safari Suites are the latest in luxury glamping accommodation! Custom built from heavy duty canvas and wooden beams, divided up into distinct rooms including a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and an expansive balcony, you’ll feel like you are staying in the heart of nature. But instead of the discomfort of traditional camping, you’re in a luxury honeymoon-style suite set overlooking the stunning Langdales in the centre of the Lake District!
From your balcony hot tub you can enjoy the views and watch the wildlife along the edge of the ancient woodland bordering Skelwith Fold, or take in the wonder of the night sky far from the light pollution of cities and streetlights. When you’re ready to go back inside, you can enjoy the comfortable lounge sofa suite and watch your favourite show on the smart TV. Or you can have the best of both worlds and open up the whole front wall of your Safari Suite to enjoy the vista, transforming your living room into an extension of the great outdoors.

Luxury Lake District Glamping
Our stunning Safari Suites near Ambleside in Cumbria contain one queen-size bedroom along with a bathroom with a shower and twin basins, a well equipped kitchen, and open-plan lounge and dining area. The icing on the cake is a large balcony with a beautiful view, complete with an in-built hot tub.
The Safari Suites are located just a short distance from the northern shore of Windermere – England’s largest lake and the very heart of the Lake District. You will be in the perfect location to explore the most beautiful National Park in the country.
The Safari Suites can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults.

Our Safari Suites are so new that they are not yet visible on our availability scanner! However, if you click to ‘Book Now‘ you can find the full availability and pricing there. The availability shown here temporarily is for our larger six-berth Safari Tents.
Please note that we can only accept assistance dogs in our Safari Suites. Unfortunately no other pets will be permitted.
Please be aware that the Safari Suites are constructed from canvas. As such they may become a little chilly at night during the colder times of year. We advise that you wrap up warm at night for bookings early and late in the season!

How to prepare for your departure
On the day of your departure, we politely request that you strip your beds. The mattress and pillow protectors may be left in place as we will collect these for cleaning separately.
