At Skelwith Fold we are proud to have some of the best facilities of any caravan park in the Lake District. We’re constantly investing in our caravan and glamping park to ensure guests have a memorable experience. Our well-stocked shop has all the essentials, alongside local produce and gifts. Our modern toilet and shower blocks are maintained to high standards throughout the stay.
Younger members of the family will love our recreation field, woodland adventure course and recently revamped children’s playground. There are more than 100 acres of Woodland to explore too – great for Dog walking! We have also increased accessibility to much of the woodland with well over a mile of surfaced paths to allow for wheelchairs and buggys. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, Nature Trails, a laundrette, a trust library and dishwashers!.
The Skelwith Fold Shop and Reception is open every day during the season. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to help.
Climb up the scramble nets, whizz down the tube slide and hang on tight and experience the thrill of our 30 metre long zip wire.
Our four acre recreation area is the ideal space for you to run around and blow off steam. You can also exercise your dog off the lead here.
There are 130 acres of woodlands with a wealth of flora and fauna to discover and identify. The paths accessible for buggies and wheelchairs.
Slew Tarn at Skelwith Fold is a peaceful spot to take a walk around any time of day. It is a great location to see some of the wildlife.
Our heated launderette and drying room will help you clean up after your latest lakeland adventure, or dry out your clothes after a wet day out.
Wifi is available around Skelwith. All guests have access to 1GB of data for free each month. 15GB and faster access speed are available to purchase.
The Nature Hide is a quiet and relaxing place tucked into the Skelwith woodland, where you can see a whole range of our local wildlife.
We are delighted to have some fantastic local food served from excellent food vans at Skelwith Fold.
